Stop Your Whining

Don't you wish everyone would stop complaining? No, you don't because you realize that feedback is gold to an organization's success!
The problem isn't the complaining, it's the listening. We might "hear" what someone is saying with our ears but that's only the first step to listening. Listening means understanding from the perspective of the sender (not your own).
In his book, "7 Basic Habits of Highly Effective People," Stephen Covey discusses how trying to get our point across before we truly understand the message is not only ineffective from a communication standpoint but potentially damaging to a relationship.
