Employee Spotlight: January

Ava D. Greene is the Vice President of Legal and HR at Advisor HR. Apart from her passion for employment and people-related issues, she is a lover of all things purple. Ava enjoys dancing, and cooking, and considers herself an accomplished foodie. She also sings and plays the violin.

Although Ava grew up in Raleigh, NC and now resides in Charlotte, NC, she has lived in 14 different cities across 7 states. She also holds law licenses in 7 states.

When asked what she likes most about working at Advisor HR, Ava's answer was immediate and unequivocal - "It's the clients and the variety of issues they encounter in the workplace. No two days are ever the same." Ava especially enjoys receiving calls or emails that start with "I have no idea what to do about this" or "You won't believe what just happened". Clients often express a sense of relief and comfort when their issue is resolved, and it turns out not to be as unpleasant as they initially thought.

Ava has three children and considers them the joy of her life. She is a proud Tar Heel, and often shares stories of the "glory days" when she attended undergrad with the likes of Michael Jordan, James Worthy, and Sam Perkins in the 1980s. She is also a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority incorporated.
